So I signed my contract with Welcome Wagon on Friday and Diane (the lady that is responsible for all the sponsors) says to watch the Winnipeg Sun this weekend... they have an ad out for the Bridal Showcase... And I'm on this list of sponsors!!!!

 ...second from the bottom... you can't miss it... I am so stoked... and when I see all the sponsors that will be there... I am working with some big name companies.. all I can think about is how much of a step this is for me.. this is absolutely amazing..

Well, their small steps, but their steps in the right direction... My business name is still registered... so that good. Registered for the food handling course..  found out what permits and licences I need... so now I just need to find a licenced kitchen to rent. Hopefully that doesn't take too long.

Signed my contract with Welcom Wagon today, I am definetly in. I am so excited for it. Gonna make a few dummy cakes.. and I think around 400 mini cupcakes for the brides to taste..yumm!!!

Gonna be a  busy month!

Gonna sign a contract with Welcome Wagon, and I will be the only cakery at their bridal showcase! It just can't get any better than that. What a step in the right direction..

So now its time to really start getting my business going..

So today was the best day ever!!!!! I got to serve PAUL WALKER at work today. PAUL WALKER!! If you don't know who PAUL WALKER is, then you are nuts. Here's a picture so you can see how hot he is

He has starred in some major movies and he is so hot... and I got to serve him!

So here's the story of how it went down...

I'm at work, (Duh), and the host comes into the kitchen where everyone starting at 4pm is waiting for directional... and she says "who's in section 5? I just sat a PAUL WALKER look-a-like" And I said " I am. That's cool, cuz I Love him, he's so hot!" So I go to his table to greet him, (he is there with a girl, maybe his girlfriend) and I introduce myself and ask them how they are doing. They both answer politely and ask me how I am..(How sweet of him ). And I'm thinking, WOW this guy really looks like PAUL WALKER. I offer them beverages and they ask for a couple of arnold palmers.. I must of had a puzzled look on my face..because he asks me "do you know how to make an arnold palmer? not many people know how to down here" I say "yes, it ice tea and lemonade, down here? Are you not from around here?" Paul says "no". So I'm like, I have to ask him. I say" I'm sorry, I have to ask, you really look like PAUL WALKER, are you him?"  and he says "YES!, but I don't want a scene." (Which I can totally respect.) I got so excited though,, I asked him if I could shake his hand and I tell him I am a huge fan, he shakes my hand and says thank you.. I'm like, "can I get your autograph before you go?" and the gentleman that he is, says "sure" .

I was like totally in heaven... So I got their drinks and took their order. I left them alone as much as possible to respect his privacy and he was really polite the whole time they were there. Just for those of you who don't think it's really possible that PAUL WALKER  came into AppleBee's. I checked his credit card when he paid and it read PAUL WALKER, so it really was him. And here's his autograph to me....

Aren't you just jealous?   lol

Can you imagine how all the staff were reacting to this... it was hilarious. I am the newest celebrity at work, just because I got to serve PAUL WALKER. hehe

So time to sign off, I have another big day tomorrow. It's Rob and I's 8th wedding anniversary, We are going to the Velvet Glove!  (fancy shmancy) And I have to go frame my autograph from PAUL WALKER..
