Then Welcome Wagon Bridal Showcase was this past Sunday... and was a great success! Lots and lots of brides there as well as grooms, moms and friends.  The fashion show was spectacular as always.

I've been working hard to find a way to send my invoice to my customers through email... and with success... I have found a way.

Now when you order a cake from me... I am able to transfer my invoice to a PDF format and email it to you, so you have a copy of the receipt.

Isn't that great!

As you all know I am a supporter for Osteoprosis and I have come up with a great way to help this organization.

And now you can help out as well!

This month I was a sponsor for the Women's Soccer Tournament for Osteoprosis and donated a beautiful cake for all the players and supporter to eat. But I also made cookies to sell for a donation to the charity.

There is 2 cookies in a bag, and each bag is only $5.00!

And 50% of the proceeds will go to the Osteoprosis Canada Organization.

This Month I created 2 designs to go with the theme of things... a bone and a soccer ball cookie..

Each month I will create 2 different designs to keep with the theme of the season or the charity itself...( if anyone has ideas, I would be interested in hearing them..)

I've been contacted by the PR department of the Manitoba Chapter of Osteoprosis in hoping I would like to be a sponsor for the Women's Charity Fall Soccer Tournament in September and would like me to donate a cake.

Get Married Magazine contacted me and asked if they can use one of my wedding cake pictures of their premiere magazine issue this fall!

Of course I will.... So, lets cross our fingers and hope all goes well!

So today is my birthday and Wayne (my boyfriend) decided that he wanted to make a cake for me.... I have been so busy the past couple of weeks with getting a kitchen and the bridal show that he wanted to something special for me..

Now he has no baking or cake decorating experience except from watching me while I work. So of course I had to take a few pictures...

 And after all that work... I wasnt' to see it until after is was all decorated... the finished and decorated cake....

Didn't he do a wonderful job... I am so proud of him.. definitely the BEST boyfriend ever!!!!

So I signed my contract with Welcome Wagon on Friday and Diane (the lady that is responsible for all the sponsors) says to watch the Winnipeg Sun this weekend... they have an ad out for the Bridal Showcase... And I'm on this list of sponsors!!!!

Bought a Winnipeg Sun today and there it is...

 ...second from the bottom... you can't miss it... I am so stoked... and when I see all the sponsors that will be there... I am working with some big name companies.. all I can think about is how much of a step this is for me.. this is absolutely amazing..

Well, their small steps, but their steps in the right direction... My business name is still registered... so that good. Registered for the food handling course..  found out what permits and licences I need... so now I just need to find a licenced kitchen to rent. Hopefully that doesn't take too long.

Signed my contract with Welcom Wagon today, I am definetly in. I am so excited for it. Gonna make a few dummy cakes.. and I think around 400 mini cupcakes for the brides to taste..yumm!!!
